Turkey Trot

Every year we have the Turkey Trot on the last school day before Thanksgiving.  We love running around the block with our teachers and friends.  We really like seeing the teachers' dogs that come for the Turkey Trot.

Mrs. Walker's dog, Collin, came to visit for the Turkey Trot.

Mrs. Lewis' dogs helped with the announcements.

Ms. Burdette brought her dogs, Daisy and Ellie.

Collin enjoyed all the attention and petting.

After we ran, our shoes were muddy.

Thankful Writing

Mrs. White's class wrote about things they are thankful for.  They even decorated their writing with a turkey.

Introducing......

We would like to introduce our new aide, Mrs. Miller.  Mrs. Miller was born on July 30 in Dallas, Texas.  She attended Shands and Florence Elementary schools in Mesquite.  Then she went to Vanston Middle School and North Mesquite High School. Mrs. Miller also attended Eastfield College.  Her favorite subject in school was reading.  Mrs. Miller lives in Mesquite with her husband and daughter.  Outside of working, Mrs. Miller likes to spend time with her family.  Something you might not know about her is that she used to work for the Mesquite police department.
