2-D and 3-D Shape Activity

We used gumdrops and toothpicks to make 2-D and 3-D shapes.  Then we got to eat the gumdrops!

We took the top off of the cube and made a pyramid.

Guest Author

This week author Tim Ostermeyer visited McKenzie.  He lives near Dallas and takes pictures of wild animals.

We went to the library to meet him and hear about his books.  He brought puppets and baby ducks.

Mr. Randy Walker

Mrs. Walker's husband, Mr. Randy Walker, comments on our blog posts every week.  He likes to write a lot and leaves puzzles for us to solve.  Today is his birthday.  We sang "Happy Birthday" for him.  Mrs. Walker recorded it to play for him.
